5: Sarah & Richard, 2012
Their home that they rebuilt on the show helped them come second in the show in its inaugural year. It sold for 961,000, & is currently valued at $1.8M. Amazingly it has had yearly growth of $232,500. An impressive sum for the new owners who might choose to cash out.
4: Quinn & Ben, 2014
Their house may have only sold for $10k above the reserve, but by joves is their house worth a lot more now. Its current HomesEstimate is $1.9M, and has had yearly growth of $287,500.
3: Ben & Libby, 2012
The winners of the first iteration of The Block scored $157k over their reserve price. Year on year, it’s had an astonishing growth rate of $309,750, & its estimated value is $2.2M
2: Ginny & Rhys, 2012
Another 2012 alumnus, these two got 805,000 for their do up in the first season. astonishingly, their home is worth $2.2M now, which means its value has grown $348,000 year on year
1: Rachel & Tyson, 2012
They didn’t make any profit when they sold their home, but the new owner certainly can. Sold for $798,000 it’s now worth $2.26M. Not only has it more than doubled in value, it’s grown by $365,500 every year since 2012.
